The 6000 respirators are equipped with a lightweight double filter system. The filters are attached by means of an easy-to-use bayonet connection. This significantly increases flexibility and compatibility with other 3M masks. The 6000 series is a very affordable respiratory protection system: You benefit from the attractive purchase price and low maintenance requirements. Additional comfort and greater flexibility is provided by the S-200 compressed air-assisted respiratory protection system, with which the 6000 series half mask can be easily combined. Clean the masks in the usual way for such a respirator or simply use the 3M 105 cleaning cloths. The 6000 Series half-masks, fitted with gas/vapour filters, can be used up to 30 times the MAK value or up to 1000 ppm (5000 ppm for 6055), whichever is lower. If gases or vapors have poor warning properties such as odor or taste, do not use a mask with a gas filter. The 3M respiratory protection system of the 6000 series including all usable filters complies with the basic safety requirements according to article 10 and 11 B of the EC directive 89/686 and is therefore marked with the CE mark.
