The swivelling milling head and the large dimensioned cross table are equipped with a motorized height adjustment or a rapid traverse drive for fast tool or workpiece positioning. The infinitely adjustable cross table drive of the X-axis allows an optimization of the cutting speed and offers highest repeatability. The operating modes drilling/milling and tapping can be selected.
